- 2 oz cilantro-infused Maumee Moonshine*
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
Cilantro-Infused Maumee Moonshine
- 1 cup Maumee Moonshine
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
Mix it up
- To make the cilantro-infused Maumee Moonshine, add the moonshine and cilantro leaves to a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Shake the jar to combine the ingredients, then let it sit at room temperature for 1-2 days, or until the moonshine has taken on the flavor of the cilantro.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the cilantro leaves, and discard them.
- To make the cocktail, add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to chill and combine the ingredients.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a sprig of cilantro or a lime wheel (optional).
